The BTA adapter plate is designed to expand the application range of the BT1 coupler lock to cover all applications of the BT1 and BT2 coupler locks.  If you have multiple trailers with different ball sizes this adapter will expand the use of the BT1 coupler lock to 2" and 2 5/16" ball couplers.
